Top 3 Reasons Why Every Business Needs A Website

I’ve been seeing an alarming trend where new business owners are going into business without having a website.

Time and time again I hear, “Yay, but Halle…I don’t need a website.”

This couldn’t be furthest from the truth. Every business, and I mean EVERY business needs a website to represent not only who they are, but who they wish to serve.

So here are 3 of my top reasons why every business needs a website.

Reason #1 - Establishes You As An Expert

When you build a website, this helps to establish you as an expert in the field. As you can imagine, this is critical in starting the process of building trust and relationships with your future clients.

In addition, when people are considering purchasing what it is that you have to offer, they need a place to come to where they can learn more about you and how you or your product can benefit them.

Make no mistake, the number one reason that your followers want to know more about you and your products is to better understand how you will serve them, or what benefit they get from working with you or buying your product.

Think of your website as an introduction to you and a place where you can tell others how you can serve them.

Reason #2 - Warms Your Audience Up

When someone lands on your website for the first time, they are a cold lead. Cold leads rarely ever buy from you, you have to warm them up and start building trust.

Your website is a place that allows you to warm your audience up. It gives you a place to share your journey and further establishes why you are an expert in your field.

It also is a place where you can talk directly to your target audience. Most websites miss this opportunity all together, but when done correctly…a website reads in the narrative that you are talking directly to your ideal client like they are sitting across the table from you in a quaint coffee shop.

Reason # 3 - Helps You Rank On Major Search Engines

If you want to get organic leads, you need to think about search engine optimization or SEO.

When you own a website and post regularly to it, sites like google see you as relevant business and in time will start to move you up in rank with the end goal being page one of google.

This is done through consistent posting and solving your ideal client’s problems…AKA blogging.

Now I know blogging has got a bad rep in the past, but it has tremendous benefits in helping you rank on google.

Every Business Needs A Website

Bottom line is if you run a business, you need a website. It doesn’t matter how big or small you are or how little or how much you make…everyone needs a website.

  • If you have a side hustle…you need a website.

  • If you have a product or service….you need a website.

  • If you sell high ticket…you need a website.

  • If you’re a local business, you need a website.

Ask yourself this, when was the last time you bought something and didn’t research reviews or goto the website to make sure it was a legitimate business?

And don’t let the thought of building a website scare you. I built this very website that you are reading by myself in under a week…and so can you.
